Polson Pier evolved from the creation of the Docks Nightclub in June of 1996. The building was a former film studio and warehouse space. It was transformed from an unknown prime piece of Toronto's waterfront, into the hottest nightclub in the city! Starting with a modest sized patio restaurant, The Docks quickly outgrew its nightclub-only image and the following year, the patio was expanded and our guests were looking for more things to do. This lead to the creation of an 18-hole mini-golf course, 300 yard golf driving range, patio swimming pool and 13 sand beach volleyball courts.
